Curried Shrimp Kabobs (Serves 4)
Kick off grilling season with this flavor packed Curried Shrimp Kabobs recipe!
Suggested Pairing: Chateau Ste. Michelle Sauvignon Blanc
- 1 ½ lb. key west pink shrimp- peeled and deveined
- 1 cup coconut milk
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 2 Tbsp. curry powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp kosher salt
Soak 10-inch skewers in warm water for 30 minutes. Mix all marinade ingredients together in small mixing bowl.
Skewer shrimp and place in shallow baking dish. Pour marinade over shrimp and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
Place skewers on a hot grill for 2-3 minutes and baste with remaining marinade. Turn and grill for approximately 2-3 more minutes.
Serve with your favorite rice and vegetable.
