Grilled Sesame Ginger Salmon with Honey Ginger Glaze
Wine Pairing Suggestion – Le Crema, Sauvignon Blanc
For the marinade:
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 TBSP sweet chili sauce
- 2 TBSP soy sauce
- 2 TBSP brown sugar
- 2 TBSP rice vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 TBSP sesame oil
- 1 TBSP grated fresh ginger
- 4 Salmon filets 5-6 oz. each
For the glaze:
- 2 TBSP honey
- 1 tsp Sriracha sauce
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 TBSP roasted garlic puree
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp ground ginger
In medium bowl whisk together marinade ingredients. Place salmon filets in shallow pan or large Ziploc bag and marinate at least 6 hours or overnight.
Whisk together glaze ingredients in small bowl and set aside.
Remove salmon from marinade and cook on preheated grill, 4-5 mins per side. Glaze while grilling and again after removing from grill. Serve with your favorite rice and vegetable.
